History of Hustler fund 


In Kenya, husler fund is the UGRO Capital Fund.

The Hustler Fund was established by Deputy President of Kenya, William Ruto, in 2019, as part of his political platform that focused on supporting small businesses and entrepreneurs. The fund was launched with a target of raising Ksh. 1 billion to provide loans to Kenyan small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

The Hustler Fund is managed by UGRO Capital, an Indian-based financial institution that provides debt capital to SMEs. The fund provides collateral-free loans to SMEs, with amounts ranging from Ksh. 30,000 to Ksh. 500,000, at an interest rate of 12% per annum.

To apply for the Hustler Fund, you can visit the UGRO Capital website or any of their partner banks in Kenya to fill out an application form. You will need to provide details about your business and its financial history, as well as personal information about yourself as the business owner.
